A Piece of art: The Starry Night of Vincent Van Gogh






Hello everyone, today I will talk about an artwork that I like a lot and the first one that came to my head, I even thought later on if there was another that I liked so much and definitely not, so my favorite artwork is "The Starry Night "a masterpiece of the post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. The painting shows the exterior view during the night from the window of the sanatorium of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where he was secluded towards the end of his life. However, the work was painted during the day, by heart. It dates from the middle of 1889, thirteen months before van Gogh's death. Since 1941 it has been part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

This piece of art I have known since very small because it is very famous and I always considered it wonderful because it shows a painting with "movement" and many effects that go out of the ordinary with what I was accustomed to see, I think I also like it a lot because I love the scenery it shows, both the hills and the stars are great. The starry night is great because it is a artwork that has transcended and is admired to this day in many parts of the world.
I also really like the artistic style that Van Gogh had, because, I am not at all an expert in art, but compared to everything I have seen, I like it much more. I would like one day to see in New York the original piece of the starry night or even paint it on some of the walls of my room, because I love it, it is my favorite work of art!

A HOLIDAY

Dear bloggers, today I will talk with you about my last vacations, they were in July 2016 in the IV region of Coquimbo in Chile.
